The Greater Milford Boys and Girls Club held their Summer Fun Club BBQ to celebrate another exciting year of summer coming to an end. Staff members and the Boys & Girls Club kids enjoyed activities such as potato sack races and making their own backpacks.

The Summer Fun Club in Milford offered members an entertaining summer experience with their peers rooted in enrichment and educational activities. A typical day at camp began with open play and athletic activities while teaching kids health and life skills. Children visited the computer lab, the literacy circle and enjoyed art and creativity time while engaging with other kids during youth development activities.

The Boys & Girls Summer Fun Club programs aims to promote the development of young people by instilling four senses in each child: sense of competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging and a sense of power or influence. These four senses will help each kid develop healthy learning and social skills during the upcoming school year.

To sign up for fall programs at the Greater Milford Boys & Girls Club call 302-422-4453.
