Delmarva’s Hispanic community is in store for an afternoon of family fun, entertainment, education, job opportunities and networking on Sunday April 22nd as the Eighth Annual Hispanic Expo and Job Fair takes place in the Dover Building at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington.

Delmarva’s heritage Hispanic radio station, La Exitosa 930AM, has partnered with Aaron’s Sale and Lease in Milford to present the Hispanic Expo and Job Fair, which will run from 12 noon until 4 p.m. The general public is invited to come experience a slice of Latin culture. Admission is free.

This year’s Expo will feature musical entertainment, international food and prize drawings, as well as children’s activities including a caterpillar crawl, face painting and the ever-popular pinatas. Miss Hispanic Delaware will make an appearance. La Exitosa’s on-air personalities, Rafael Orlando and Cristian Tijerino will be on hand to greet attendees and host the event. The Expo will also feature more than 30 local vendors from the employment, education, health care, social service, automotive and financial sectors, just to name a few. A number of vendors will be conducting job interviews and screenings.

“We are very excited to be able to offer an informative and fun-filled day for the entire family”, said Morning Personality and Program Director Rafael Orlando. “This event gives our Hispanic Community the opportunity to connect face-to-face with a variety of services and organizations,” according to Cristian Tijerino, afternoon personality.

Delmarva Broadcasting Company’s La Exitosa 930AM, along with this year’s co sponsor, Aarons Sale and Lease in Milford, are confident that the Expo will give the Hispanic community an afternoon that is educational and informative, while mixing in plenty of fun and entertainment.

Further information about the Eighth Annual Hispanic Expo and Job Fair can be found online at www.Laexitosa.com and by listening to La Exitosa 930AM, or 97.7 HD-3. La Exitosa can also be listened to on most smartphones via Blackberry, iPhone and Droid apps which are available free of charge.

Delmarva Broadcasting Company, based in Delaware, owns and operates La Exitosa 930 AM along with 11 other radio stations in Delaware and Maryland.
