Milford Police Department

On 05-31-12 the Milford Police Department and the Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on US Rt 113 (South DuPont Hwy), south of SR Rt 14 (Milford-Harrington Hwy).  Investigation revealed a female pedestrian attempted to cross the southbound lanes of US Rt 113, when she was struck by a tractor trailer.  The victim was pronounced at the scene by Sussex County Paramedics.  The victim involved in the accident has been identified as Dawn Marie Noble, 55 of Milford.  The roadway was closed for three hours, but has since been reopened.  Anyone with information about this matter are urged to call the Milford Police Department at 302-422-8081, Delaware State Police Crash Reconstruction Unit at 302-697-4454 ext 216, texting keyword “DSP” to 274637 (CRIMES).  Tips can also be submitted via Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333 or www.tipsubmit.com.  More information will be released as it is available.
