2According to Delaware State Police, three people were injured, one critically, in a single-vehicle crash near Lincoln yesterday evening.

The crash occurred at 11:10 p.m. as a 2013 Chevrolet Cruz traveled eastward on Fleatown Road. After the vehicle passed Cubbage Pond Road, it encountered a slight right turn into the roadway. The vehicle continued straight, leaving the roadway, and went down an embankment. The vehicle overturned, struck a deck attached to a home, and ejected the rear-seat passenger, Dennis Edge, 20, of Houston. The vehicle continued eastward, struck a fence, and ultimately came to rest on its side.

The driver of the vehicle, Danielle Lewis, 19, of Milford, the front passenger, Anastasia Webb, 16, of Camden-Wyoming, and Edge were all transported to Milford Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Lewis and Webb were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Edge was later transported by ambulance to Christiana Hospital, and admitted in critical condition.

None of the vehicle’s occupants were properly restrained at the time of the crash. The investigation into this incident is ongoing, and no charges have been filed.
