3Strangulation, Offensive Touching (2 counts), Criminal Mischief Under $1500 and Disorderly Conduct.

On August 10,2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 22yo Milford man stemming from a domestic incident that occurred earlier in the day at a residence in the 900 block of Berry Lane. Jesse Wright was charged with Strangulation, Offensive Touching (2 counts), Criminal Mischief Under $1000 and Disorderly Conduct. Police state that investigation revealed that Wright and the 22yo female victim got into a verbal dispute outside of the residence. During the dispute, Wright became irate and began yelling at the female victim. Wright then grabbed the female victim and pushed her head up against the outside of the residence. As the female victim attempted to flee to a neighbor’s residence, Wright grabbed her and threw her to the ground. Wright then grabbed the victim’s throat and began to strangle her. Police state that the victim was able to break free and flee on foot from Wright. Wright then retrieved a hammer and began striking the victim’s vehicle, parked at the residence, with the hammer. Wright was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $6,000 secured bond.
