3Shoplifting Under $1500 and Theft by False Pretense Under $1500 (2 counts)

On September 6, 2014 the Milford Police arrested and charged a 36yo Milford man stemming from an incident that occurred on August 29,2014 at Walmart Department Store. Joseph C. Bare was charged with Shoplifting Under $1500 and Theft by False Pretense Under $1500 (2 counts). Police state that investigation revealed that Bare would remove items from the store shelves and then return them (for money or store credit) as if they were purchased by him previously. Bare was arraigned and committed to SCI in default of $1200 secured bond.
