Milford girls tennis started the 2014 season under 4 values: honesty, integrity, dedication and respect.  They recite these values during every warm-up before a match.  The girls were so excited to hear they received an award based on the values we strive for every time they play.

“The Milford team is a dedicated and hard working group of girls that get together on their own even in the offseason and sometimes have even been spotted out in the freezing cold playing tennis and having fun because they love the game,” stated Head Coach Jacquelyn  Powers.  “The girls were very excited to hear they won the sportsmanship award as a team and thank you for this recognition and will continue to play hard, play fair and have fun for the 2015 season.”

Milford has been under coach Jacquelyn Powers for four years now and she was there to accept the award on the team’s behalf.
