Four members of Diamond Dance Company brought home honors at The Delaware Dance Festival held at the Grand Opera House on Sunday, February 22. Ariana Knowles, 12 of Milford, a company member and student at Tatiana Akinfieva Dance Academy (TADA) was awarded a three week summer program scholarship to The Dance Conservatory by Conservatory Director Teresa Emmons. Arlene Maheu, Thomas Vasquez, and Julliana Warnock, all Diamond Dance Compay members, received a $100 cash scholarship to their program of choice. TADA students, under the direction of Aimee Voshell String and choreographed by Victoria Brown O’Brien performed a contemporary piece titled LIGHT. Students from En Pointe Studio, located in Camden, under the direction of Kimmy Noll Price performed a contemporary piece titled Say Something. Diamond Dance Company members entertained with an excerpt from their upcoming spring production Tale of The Little Mermaid to be performed on Saturday, April 25 at Milford High School.
