MUSIC MASTERS: Musical Mélange

October 24, 3:00 p.m.; Tickets $10 adults, $5 seniors/students

Milford Branch: 10 S. Walnut St, Milford

Works for violin and piano, solo piano and piano four-hands. Featuring Donna Beech, piano; Martin Beech, guest violin; Donna DeLaurentis, piano; Eliezer Gutman, violin; and Liliya Maslov, piano.

FAMILY CONCERT: Webster the Musical Spider

November 7, 3:00 p.m.; Tickets $5 Milford Branch: 10 S. Walnut St, Milford

Your favorite musical spider returns! In this original composition by Valerie Von Pechy Whitcup, Webster, a spider, is ridiculed because he prefers to spend his time playing music on his web rather than hunting for bugs to eat. In a surprising turn of events, Webster becomes a hero, and everyone learns the power of music and the lesson of acceptance. Featuring Serafin String Quartet; Valerie Von Pechy Whitcup, guest harp; Paula Nelson, flute; Michael Larkin, narrator.

Founded in 1924, The Music School of Delaware reaches thousands of people from Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland through its instructional programs and 75 public performances each year. The Music School is the only nationally accredited program of its kind in Delaware and is the only statewide accredited community music school in the nation.
