Elections to be Held on Tuesday, November 2

Tuesday, November 2 is Election Day.  The polls will be open from 7am-8pm.  There are several political offices on the ballot this year that residents of the Greater Milford Area will be voting on.  On the top of the ballot, front-runners Chris Coons (D) and Christine O’Donnell (R) are running for the office of U.S. Senate and John Carney (D) and Glen Urquhart (R) are running for U.S. House of Representative.

This election also includes the statewide offices of Attorney General, State Treasurer, and Auditor of Accounts.  The countywide races will include the offices of Register of Wills, Recorder of Deeds, and Sussex County Sherriff.

The Greater Milford Area is divided into two State House of Representative districts.  In the 33rd District, located farther north, Robert E. Walls (D) and Harold J. Peterman (R) are running for the office of State House Representative.  In the 36th District, C. Russell McCcab and Harvey R. Kenton will be running for the office of State House Representative.
