Tastes of Milford

Last Thursday evening the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford held their annual holiday auction and Tastes of Milford event at the Schawnee Country Club.   This fundraiser raises money to benefit the Milford Senior Center and the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford.  Del-One was the corporate sponsor for the event for the fourth consecutive year.

Restaurants including Abbott’s Grill, Capriotti’s, Georgia House, and Mama Maria featured a taste of their cuisine to over 350 attendees.  Other local businesses included Milford Senior Center, Frederica Senior Center, Heritage at Milford, and Tastefully Simple.  JoAnne Navitsky-Schmeiser, Director of the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford, commented that the “business community and the individuals of Milford really came together as a whole and created a great event.”

The next event for the Chamber will be a ribbon cutting event for Abbott’s Grill on Wednesday, December 15th.
