Senator Carper took at trip downtown Monday, December 6 with Lorraine Dion, Executive Director of Downtown Milford Inc., to see what Milford has been busy accomplishing lately.  Lorraine guided Senator Carper through the downtown area and highlighted the downtown businesses and local sites. 

Senator Carper enjoyed lunch at Abbott’s Grill and then headed to Dolce for some much needed hot coffee. He stopped in Minorbird and introduced himself to the owner Leigh Nagy.  Lorraine showed Senator Carper the Riverfront and introduced him to EcoChic; owned by Teri Carter.
