Abbott’s Grill Ribbon Cutting – One Year Anniversary

From Left to Right Front -- Judy Diogo (Central Delaware Chamber President), Amy McPherson (Abbott's Grill), Mark Dean (Abbott's Grill), Mayor and Mrs. Rogers, Fred Rohm (CCGM President). In back Ryan Cunnighmam (Abbott's Grill), Scott Johnson (Abbott's Grill), Mike Kazala (CCGM Vice President).

One year after they opened their doors to the public, Abbott’s Grill held their ribbon cutting ceremony to commemorate their newest location in Milford.  Owner Kevin Reading has enjoyed much success over the past year in the area of fine dining having received “Best New Restaurant 2010” from Delaware Today.

The reason for the delay of the ribbon cutting was simply due to the amount of attention Abbott’s Grill received early on from the community.  “Last year we opened on December 3 and everything was in a rush.  We were busy getting all of the technical details together while at the same time listening to the wants and needs of the customers,” stated Mark Dean, Marketing Director.

The food at Abbott’s Grill has been popular in Milford since they opened last year but “The Pub” is getting more attention lately.  This area is not as formal as the dining area and has live entertainment throughout the week for patrons to enjoy.  The relaxed atmosphere allows customers of all ages to wind down after work or a long week.

The private dining room and outside patio area are a great place to hold meetings or just have fun with a few friends.  There are always daily specials and events going on at The Grill no matter which night you choose to check it out.

Abbott’s Grill is located at 249 NE Front St. and can be reached at 302-491-6736. To find out more about Abbott’s Grill’s fine dining or pub visit http://www.abbottsgrillde.com/.
