Milford Memorial Welcomes First Baby of 2011

Milford Memorial welcomed the first baby of 2011 at 12:49 a.m.on January 1, 2011.

Baby girl Astraea Glowacki, of Dagsboro, Del., weighed 7 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 ¾ inches long at birth when delivered by Bayhealth – Milford Memorial obstetrician/gynecologist Arthur Jones, DO.  She was welcomed by her parents Adrian Glowacki and Ron Quinones, her brother Carlito Glowacki (who was incidentally born on 06/06/06), and her mom-mom Lauren Ruhe.

Baby Astraea received many new gifts for being the first baby of the year, including a newborn carseat compliments of Trauma Services at Milford Memorial, a gift bag filled with presents from the Reflections Gift Shop at Milford Memorial, as well as numerous gifts from Women’s Services at Milford Memorial.
