People’s Place Hires New Nurse Practitioner

 

Barbara Stanley, Nurse Practitioner, joins the People’s Place Counseling Center staff in Milford seeing clients 16 years and older.

 The People’s Place Counseling Center is pleased to announce that it has recently hired Barbara Stanley, Nurse Practitioner.  She received her Post Masters Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from New York University.   Ms. Stanley has been practicing for eleven years and will now see clients 16 years and older in the Milford office Monday through Thursdays.  Ms. Stanley provides assessments and medication management and can see clients in Milford with Unison, DPCI, Medicare insurance and private pay as early as next week if necessary.   The agency welcomes Barbara Stanley to their People’s Place family.

The People’s Place Counseling Center has a very dedicated and highly-qualified staff of 16 professionals serving our communities in Kent and Sussex Counties as well as lower New Castle at sites in Milford, Millsboro, Seaford and Smyrna.  Appointments can be scheduled by calling the agency’s Intake Coordinator at 302-422-8026.  The People’s Place Counseling Center is a contract provider for the Delaware Department of Children, Youth and Their Families.
