Bayhealth Medical Center is pleased to welcome the return of Robert A. Fischer, Jr. to the Bayhealth, Inc. Board of Directors.

Mr. Fischer previously served on the Milford Memorial Hospital Board of Directors, including a role as its Chairman of the Board, and formerly served as Chairman of the Board of Bayhealth, Inc.

“We are very fortunate Mr. Fischer will once again lend his business expertise to Bayhealth’s Board,” said Bayhealth President and Chief Executive Officer Terry Murphy, FACHE.  “His strong leadership skills, together with his dedication to Bayhealth, will help guide Bayhealth’s mission of improving the health status of all members of our community.” 

Mr. Fischer is a General Partner in Fischer Investments, L.P. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Universityof Delaware, serving as Chairman of the Finance Committee. After a career in agribusiness, Mr. Fischer retired as President and CEO of Milford Fertilizer Company in 2002. He and his wife, Linda, live in Lewes, Del.
