Milford Man Held in Sexual Assault Investigation

Saturday evening February 19, 2011 Delaware State Police charged Dennis W. Rogers 3rd of Milford Delaware following a sexual assault investigation. 
 
State Troopers patrolling the Woodland Beach Parking lot around 11:30 p.m. came across a Jeep Liberty sport utility vehicle parked in the lot afterhours.  The Jeep Liberty was occupied by Dennis W. Rogers 3rd and an underage Clayton teen. 
 
The investigation revealed that Rogers engaged in inappropriate conduct with the 14 year old teen.  Rogers was also in possession of a small quantity of marijuana. 
 
Rogers was charged with Rape Fourth Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Possession of Marijuana.  Rogers was arraigned and then incarcerated into James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on $5,750 cash bond.
