On Tuesday, March 1, 2011, Lulu Ross Elementary held and induction ceremony for the induction of  42 new members into its National Elementary Honor Society. Guest speaker at the event was Ms. Sharon Kanter, Superintendent of the Milford School District.  This is the third year that the Honor Society has been in existence at Ross, it is open to fourth and fifth grade students who meet the criteria.  The students are involved in many community and service projects, both in and out of school.   Pictured are members of the advisory board, Mrs. Cindy McKenzie and Dr. Sylvia Henderson, along with advisor Mr. Jay Lingo and the newly inducted members.
