Find your inner Irish Downtown this March 17

Staff Report

Downtown Milford, Inc. (DMI) is hosting Toasting the Town: St. Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl and they’re looking for all Irish fans!

Here’s how it will work: event-goers will purchase a t-shirt around town prior to the event and then walk around Downtown Milford on Thursday, March 17 anytime after 5:00 p.m., in hopes of receiving a check mark next to every participating vendor’s logo on the back of their shirt. Event t-shirts are being sold for $15.00 at Abbott’s Grill, Georgia House, Minorbird, Miss Q’s Bar & Billiards, Park Place, and Second Street Players theater. Be sure to pick yours up today to get the deals on St. Patty’s Day!

Participating vendors will have specials for t-shirt wearers, such as: discounted appetizers at Abbott’s Grill, free wine and beer tastings from Fenwick Wine Cellars and 16 Mile Brewing Company*, respectively ($2 without a t-shirt); $2 discount on corned beef and cabbage at Georgia House; 10% off coupon to Minorbird; choice of discounted Irish cocktails and a DJ at Miss Q’s Bar & Billiards; $3.17 corned beef and cabbage at Park Place; and live music at the 2nd St. Player’s theater.

Fenwick Wine Cellars will be located at Minorbird and the 2nd St. Players theater until 8:00 p.m. 16 Mile Brewing Company will also be located in the theater, while Punchline will be located on the grass outside the theater until 8:00 p.m., weather permitting. Leafo Photo and Milford Live will be walking around town to take your picture!
