Journey to Soul

Dwayne Powell, along with Scott Angelucci, organized this event  to spotlight local talent in the Delaware and Eastern Shore area through Art, spoken word (poetry) and Music. An Exhibition and Wine & Cheese Reception was held at Mispillion Art League, followed by a live concert at Abbott’s Grill. Exhibiting artists included Donna Blakey, Nina Spencer, Rose McCaster and Angela Taylor. Performing artists included  Soul Selby, VoKyle, Triple L. Poets, Soul Son and Lady Precious. Part of the proceeds of the sold out concert benefited the Mispillion Art League’s scholarship fund. Angelucci Galleries and the Studios Upstairs participated with a reception and refreshments for attendees as well.  The event was promoted by 57 Blacklight District and Dogetbe Ent.
