Mispillion Art League Offers Drawing and Mixed Media Classes

Mispillion Art League offers this special evening class for those who wish to improve their ability to draw realistically. The class, called “Drawing from Life” runs on Wednesday evenings 6:30 to 8 p.m. from March 9 through April 13, 2011. Supplies are included with class fee.  Bill is a professional artist and retired art teacher. He received his formal art training at Mercer Comm. College, Rowan University, and the University of the Arts.

Cost of the class is $80 for MAL members and $95 for non-members.

Mixed Media Art Class sign up by March 12

It’s not too late to sign up for the Mixed Media Art class in March. In the Mixed Media Textured Art class at the Mispillion Art League in Milford, students will learn how to apply a variety of media to create a raised abstract on canvas stretched over wood. Start the process on Friday evening, and let dry until Sunday when color is added.  Class is held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 18, and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 20 Materials included in class fee.  Angela is a self-taught artist with pieces on display in several Milford locations.

Cost is $60 MAL members / $70 non-members. Registration ends March 12.

Mispillion Art League is located at 5 N Walnut Street in Milford. All classes and exhibits are made available in part from a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts.
