Business Mix-Po Scheduled at Milford Central Academy

Milford Central Academy will be the location of the Business Mix-Pro hosted by the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Milford

Right now you’re probably asking yourself, “What is a Mix-PO”? A Mix-Po is a combination of a Mixer and an Expo. It’s an opportunity for companies to display their goods and services to people who are interested in learning more about their business, and an opportunity for attendees to meet and mingle. As an added bonus, since the event is being held at the Milford Central Academy, (Delaware’s first Green school) the Mix-Po has a “Green” theme.

Right now you’re probably asking yourself, “What is a Green theme”? A “Green” theme means that all participating vendors will share a tip on what they do in their business to help the environment. Attendees will be told ideas they can use to help the environment too, from recycling to using solar panels.

The Mix-Po is being held Thursday June 16th from 4 to 8 p.m. The public is welcome, and the event is free to attend. Each vendor will be supplying a door prize, and everyone who attends is eligible to win.

Mix-Po Coordinator, Terri Favata, expects over 40 local businesses to be on hand to talk with attendees, and provide information and products from their company. Terri says this is a great opportunity for people to learn more about the services offered in the greater Milford area. She says representatives from every type of business you can imagine will be at this Mix-Po.

The Mix-Po will be held in the Academy Cafeteria, so there is plenty of room for vendors and attendees to mingle without having to worry about being crowded. There is also plenty of parking available at the school, making it convenient for attendees to get in and out easily. Since the event is four hours, there is also plenty of time for people to take their time and talk to all the vendors.

Make sure to mark your calendar, and plan on attending the first ever Green Mix-Po.
If you’re interested in being a vendor, the cost is only $25.00, and you must bring a Door Prize. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your business at a very reasonable investment.
There is a limited amount of vendor space available, and this is on a first-come, first-served basis so make sure to register now.
