Elks Lodge Quarter Auctionat Supports MS Research

What is a Quarter Auction?  Upon arriving, participants received a numbered paddle. Auction items were on display with a bid price of 1, 2, 3 or 4 quarters. As the items were presented, bidders placed the bid amount in the basket provided and held their paddles in the air. If the auctioneer picked their paddle number from the bucket, they won the item, and walked away with an AMAZING product for just 25¢, 50¢, 75¢ or $1.00!! Auction items included Avon, Mary Kay, Tupperware and Thirty One products, among others.

The team raised $2,225.00 for the MS Society of Delaware!  Funds raised will be used for research and programs for people living with multiple sclerosis throughout Delaware.  This year’s Bike MS: Bike to the Bay will be held on September 24th and 25th.  For more information about the bike ride or the MS Society of Delaware visit www.msdelaware.org.
