On Thursday, May 26 the Milford Police Drugs & Narcotics Unit and the ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) concluded a month long joint investigation with an arrested of two Milford men. The Milford Police Drugs & Narcotics Unit, The Milford Police Special Operations Group with the assistance of DEA Task Force, ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms), Wilmington Police Tactical Team, Smyrna Police Tactical Team, Georgetown Police Tactical Team & Drug Unit, Kent County Probation & Parole, DSP Aviation Division, Dover Police Drug Unit and Bridgeville Police Drug Unit executed search warrants at two residences in the 900 block of Berry Lane. Milford Police Drugs & Narcotics Unit recovered approximately 20 guns ranging from shotguns, handguns, rifles and various other long guns.

Also recovered was over 2 pounds of marijuana. Milford Police Drugs & Narcotics Unit charged Jesse Wright, 19yo, of Milford and Jordan Jackson, 18yo, of Milford with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession with Intent to Deliver Non Narcotic Schedule I, Maintaining a Dwelling for Keeping Controlled Substances, Receiving Stolen Property Over $1500, Conspiracy 2nd Degree and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jackson was additionally charged with one count of Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon. Wright was committed to SCI in default of $28,000 secured bond and Jackson was committed on $33,000 secured bond.
