Family Friendly Halloween Event Planned at Hudson Fields

Partnering with WSFS Bank and the Milford Public Library, DMI are hosting films and live entertainment Wednesday nights beginning June 8 to August 17 at the Milford Library Amphitheatre. Each night will be family oriented to encourage more locals to venture downtown and browse all Milford has to offer.

Live entertainment which will be held on June 22, 29, July 13, 27 and August 10 will be held at 7 pm. Movies which will be held on July 6, 20, August 3 and 17 will start at 8 pm. Bands performing include 15 String Band, Downtown Dixieland Band, The Smooth Sound Dance Band and Sean Reilly sings Sinatra-era music. Films played will include Nanny McPhee, An American Tale, The Goonies and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. For more information on the event visit http://downtownmilford.org/?page_id=6.

The event held on Wednesday, June 16 drew a large crowd of families to watch Over the Hedge and enjoy popcorn and other snacks. The first downtown movie night was a huge success.
