Goode Charged With Intent to Deliver

Release from Milford Police Department

On 9-30-11 officers from the Milford Police Department’s Community Policing Unit, with the assistance of Bridgeville Police and Delaware Probation and Parole, arrested Jhavon R. Goode, 18 of Milford. Mr. Goode was contacted on a traffic stop in the area of the East Street and NE 2nd Street intersection.

The investigation, which included the use of the Milford Police Department’s K-9 Unit, resulted in the seizure of a vehicle, United States Currency, a Smith and Wesson handgun, an undisclosed amount of Marijuana, a counterfeit substance resembling Marijuana, and an undisclosed amount of prescription medications.

Mr. Goode has been charged with Manufactures, Delivers, or Possesses a Counterfeit Controlled Substance, four counts of Manufactures, delivers, or Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance with an Aggravating Factor, Theft of a Firearm, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by Person Prohibited, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Mr. Goode was arraigned at JP Court #2 in Lewes, where bail was set at $81,200.00 secured. Mr. Goode has been committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in Georgetown, Delaware.
