On Thursday, October 6 The Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a 37yo Millsboro woman stemming from an incident that occurred at a local doctor’s office. Tonya Carpenter was charged with Forgery 2nd Degree and Possession of a Narcotic Schedule II Controlled Substance. Detectives discovered that on June 21, 2011 Carpenter had presented a local doctor’s office with fraudulent medical paperwork and obtained oxycodone as a result. At the time of her arrest she was already in the custody of WCI. Carpenter was turned back of to the custody of WCI.
