Two Arrested for Robbery in Wawa Parking Lot

On October 11 the Milford Police Criminal Division arrested and charged a Camden-Wyoming woman and a Magnolia man in connection with an incident that occurred in Wawa (N. Dupont Blvd, Milford) parking lot on October 8, 2011. Michael B. Benson, 23yo, of Magnolia and Tristin A. Duffy, 19 yo, of Camden-Wyoming were charged with Robbery 1st Degree, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Aggravated Menacing and Conspiracy 2nd Degree.

Benson was additionally charged with Possession of a Firearm by Person Prohibited. Detectives discovered that the 20 yo male victim was held at gunpoint by Benson and both Benson and Duffy fled the area with the victim’s money (undisclosed), while in a vehicle operated by Duffy. The 20yo male victim was not injured. Benson was arraigned through JP11 and was committed to SCI in default of $56,000 secured bond. Duffy was also arraigned through JP11 and was released after posting a $26,000 secured bond.
