Hi All,

There’s a lot going on the next two months so mark your calendar, call your friends and bring your family and friends.

On Friday October 28: The first “Spooktacular Evening” presented by DMI and the Second Street Players at the Riverfront Theatre in Milford from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. There will be a Fur~Baby Boutique sponsored Costumed Pet contest, a Pumpkin Carving contest, Face Painting, Ghost Storytelling for ages 5-9 featuring Bill Walton, a local actor and artist, and a Halloween Horrors: Witches and Vampires presentation by Ed Okonowicz, an author and authority on folklore and storytelling, for ages 10 and older.

Participants in the Pumpkin Carving Contest should bring a carved pumpkin to the event for judging.
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Most Scary, Most Creative, Most Traditional and the Most Humorist. Fur~Baby Boutique is hosting a Pet Costume Contest with fantastic prizes local animal rescues will be on-site with adoptable fur~babies.

This event is FREE. Bring the family, your costumed pet, a carved pumpkin for judging (if you wish) and have a Spooktacular time.

On Friday December 2: The 6th Annual Holiday Stroll presented by DMI from 5-8 p.m. in historic downtown Milford. The Stroll will include free Horse-drawn Carriage Rides, costumed Strolling Holiday Carolers, the Christmas Carol Band, a Christmas Tree Extravaganza, the Delmarva Miniature Horse Club, the lighting of the Community Christmas Tree and a visit with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at the new Santa House. Refreshments and entertainment will be offered at most downtown businesses .This event is FREE and will be held snow or shine!

December and January: “Santa Claus House” and “Milford Magic Monday”. We’ll let you know more about these events in our next article.
