Looking to rebound after a loss to a competitive Dover team last Friday, Milford had a good passing game against Caesar Rodney in the first half. Unable to come up with any points, however, the Bucs lost 28-0.

For much of the first half Milford was able to keep up with the Riders. Bucs quarterback Nicholas Jefferson spread the ball around and was able to gain some yards and drive up the field. Milford’s inability to establish a running game was a hurdle they could not overcome. Despite getting close to the end zone a few times the Bucs could not muster any points.

Milford defense played well, allowing only minimal yards on the ground during the first half. At halftime the score was 0-0.

After halftime Caesar Rodney had a four minute drive down field and scored their first touchdown making the score 7-0. From there it was all Riders, using a crisp passing game and taking advantage of holes in the defense to run the ball down the field.

After the final whistle Caesar Rodney won 28-0. The Bucs will look for their second win at home against Smyrna on Friday, November 4. Game time is 7:30.
