Clarence Harris Honored by MPD

Release by Milford Police Department

On 11-3-11 the Milford Police Department honored Clarence Harris for his years of dedicated service to the Milford Police Department and the Milford School District. Mr. Harris serves as the School Crossing Guard at Benjamin Banneker Elementary and Milford Middle School. Mr. Harris was awarded with an engraved stone with the Milford Police Department’s uniform patch and the words “For the support of the Milford Police Department and Milford School District by working each and every day despite the weather conditions, to ensure the safety and well being of our school children.” Earlier this year the Milford Police Department awarded similar honors to Laura Knell and Jennifer Parnell. The Milford Police Department truly appreciates the efforts and dedication of these three.
