Middle School Soccer Finishes 10-1 Season

The Milford Middles School Boys Soccer team had a very successful season this year under the direction of Coach Vicki Hudson and Keith Short. Their 10-1 record was the best year for Milford Middle School Soccer in over 10 years. With a veteran team of nine starting 8th graders, Milford looked very athletic and skilled on the field this season, improving from their record of 3-6-2 last year.

“How they prepared in the offseason this year was outstanding,” commented Coach Short. “Defensively we stayed organized, gave each other support and our midfield created chances to score by controlling the game.”

The A squad on the Milford Middle School Soccer team outscored their opponents 53-5 while the B squad outscored their opponents 25-1. As most of the athletes will be playing at the High School level next year coaches will look to groom a young team and continue the success of the program.

The 2011 Milford Middle School Soccer team included, Derrick Bogn, Anthony Sollie, Cameron Hayes, Cole Davis, Adam Byler, Evan Hickey, Geovani Mariano, Evenson Dieudonne, Matthew Mitzel, Matthew Kirkpatrick, Johnathan Herholdt, Shane Gaglione, Michael Barr, Tyler Horsman, Kyle Strassle, Bryce Warren, Alex Torres, Esneider Mondestin, Tilder Daniels, David Edwars,James Hilton, Ulises Castaneda, jordan Skiba, Jason Kalaygian, Chase Taylor, Jacob Kimmey, BrianSinger, Edward Deleon, Alex Deleon, Oseas Hernandez, Ron Rueda, Josh Layton, Eric Nielsen, Dalton Carter and Carlos Marinez.
