Staff Report

Students at Eagle’s Nest Christian Academy in Milton recently completed participation in Operation Christmas Child, an international program to bring Christmas presents and the word of God to children who would probably receive neither this holiday season. As part of the program, the students chose the gender and age range of the child they were buying for. They then bought useful and fun items and fit them all in a shoebox to be sent to the needy children.

The students collected more than 100 boxes. Operation Christmas Child is part of the Samaritan’s Purse ministry out of Boone, North Carolina. For more information on Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child, go to www.samaritanspurse.org.

Eagle’s Nest Christian Academy is a pre-school through 8th grade school providing a quality Christian education which includes caring for ones fellow man. For more information on Eagle’s Nest go to www.eaglesnestschool.org .
