Lessons and Carols

A Festival Service of Lessons and Carols will be held at Avenue Church at 8:00 and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday December 11th.   The account of the birth of Jesus from Scripture will be read, and the story of the nativity will be retold in the music of the season by the Avenue Bell Choir and the Sanctuary Choir under the Direction of Kevin B. Chamberlain, Minister of Music and Organist.

The community is invited to share in this musical celebration of the Christ’s birth.  Avenue United Methodist Church was founded in 1777.  It is a vital growing church in its 4th century of service to the people of Milford.  Worship is at 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00 a.m. each Sunday.  Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m. from September through May.  Avenue is handicap accessible, and hearing assistance is provided.
