Legree Caught

Derrick Legree

On November 25, Derrick Legree, 37 of Milford, DE, was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force in Philadelphia, PA.  Legree will be extradited back to Delaware where he will be formally charged with Attempted Murder and other felony charges in connection with the domestic related stabbing earlier in the month.

Legree was wanted for an incident that occurred on November 3, 2024. Police responded to Tull Way for a domestic-related incident. Officers discovered a female stabbing victim and rendered aid until she was transported to a local hospital where she was listed in critical but stable condition. It was alleged that Legree was responsible for the stabbing.
