Citizens Police Academy Starts February

The Milford Police Department is conducting our annual Citizens Police Academy beginning on February 15, 2012 and running until April 4, 2012. Classes will be held every Wednesday evening from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm at the Milford Police Department. Applicants must be at least 21years of age in order to participate and be able to pass a criminal background check.

The Citizens Police Academy is designed to educate the public on the many aspects of law enforcement and to give the public hands on experience. Participants will be able to ride along with officers, fire weapons at the shooting range, see K-9 demonstrations, etc. Applications are currently being accepted at the Milford Police Department from now until January 31, 2012. Applications can be picked up at the Milford Police Department. For further information contact Lt.
