Milford Police Department Release

On 1-12-12 the Milford Police Department’s Drugs and Narcotics Unit, with the assistance of the Bridgeville Police Department, executed a search warrant at the Country Farm Store on Southeast Front Street (Sussex County).  This completed a three month investigation into illegal sales of Bath Salts and K2 Synthentic Marijuana products.  The results of the search warrant yielded 43 packages of Bath Salts, 3353 packages of synthentic K2 (Containing 26 different brands), dozens of pieces of drug paraphernalia (including smoking pipes and digital scales), 49 adult videos, and over $3000.00 United States Currency.  Police arrested the owner of the store, Henidh Kanubhai, 27 of Delmar, Maryland.  Mr. Kanubhai has been charged with two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, two counts of Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Sale of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drug Paraphernailia, and Posession of Obscene Material for Sale or Commercial Dissemination.  Mr. Kanubhai was arraigned at JP Court #2 in Lewes, where bail was set at $31,000.00 secured.  Mr. Kanunhai has been committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution.  Milford Police would like to thank the concerned citizens who provided tips that greatly assisted with this investigation.
