Miss Teen DE Seeking Contestants

On Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Cape Henlopen High School Theatre, contestants from across the state will be competing for more than $8,000 in scholarships with hopes to become the next Miss Delaware’s Outstanding Teen 2012. The program is still accepting contestants who live or attend school in Delaware. To enter the program more information can be found by visiting our website at www.missde.org or by emailing the state director at infomdoteen@gmail.com. The deadline to become a 2012 contestant for the program is February 12, 2012

The 2011title holder is Victoria Brown-O’Brien of Magnolia, DE. She attends Caesar Rodney
High School where she is a junior. During her year of service, Victoria has been promoting her platform, Get Up and Dance which encourages education and creative movement to help youth become more physically active, health conscious, and gain a more positive self image.

The Miss Delaware’s Outstanding Teen Pageant is a part of the Miss Delaware
Scholarship Organization.  The not-for-profit organizations are official state preliminaries for the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Pageant and the Miss America Pageant, respectively, and are scholarship-based programs.
