Beautiful Downtown Milford Bustles with Activities

by Lee Nelson, Executive Director Downtown Milford, INC.(DMI)

Thank you to all who came out for our very successful and exciting new program. “MILFORD’S MAGIC MONDAY” at the Crystal Room in the Milford Senior Center in January. Be sure not to miss our next evening of magic on Monday, February 13 when renown comedy magician Will Fern will dazzle and amaze. Hosted by DMI and the famed Dickens Parlour Theatre in Millville, Del., the 3-monthly shows features award-winning conjurors and comedic magicians from around the country. This is a perfect tonic for the winter and is the day before Valentine’s Day…what a combination.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m. with a cash bar and mingling. Shows start at 7:00 p.m. promptly. Following the show, at 8:00 p.m. there will be refreshments and desserts for purchase from Abbott‘s Grill. While you enjoy your desserts, the magician will mingle and do table side magic for your continued amazement.
Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children (12 and under). They are available at the Milford Senior Center and the Downtown Milford, Inc. office or by calling 302-839-1180. Hurry, before they vanish… like magic! POOF!

And don’t forget to mark your calendars for the very green and fun event of the year – Saturday March 17 – the 2nd Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Pub Crawl “Toasting the Town” is back. Look out for tee-shirt sales and more information to be announced soon.
