Boys Basketball Senior Night

By Chelsea Reynolds

For senior varsity basketball players Cesar Vazquez and Chas Holden, Thursday night Feb.16 against Cape Henlopen would be their last time playing on their home court at Milford High School.

“It was amazing playing there for my last home game,” said Vazquez. “Even though we didn’t get the win, I still feel good because my young boys played hard and supported me throughout the whole game.”

Fittingly, Vazquez led the team with 12 points, while junior Shakur Manzo and sophomore Tikeace Harris each added nine.

Unfortunately for the senior Bucs, the team fell to Cape, 62-45.
“Missing a year, I just wanted to come out and show people I still got it,” said Holden. “I’m glad I ended my senior year right.”
