Police Seeking Public’s Help in Home Invasion

Delaware State Police detectives are currently investigating a home invasion that occurred last night in Milford, DE.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:12 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, as three subjects forced their way into a home located in the unit block of Concord Drive in Milford. The suspects confronted the 63 year old male resident of the home and demanded money from him. In an attempted to stop the suspects, a physical altercation ensued resulting in the victim being struck in the chest with a metal pole. The suspects then fled the residence in an unknown direction without obtaining any money.

The victim was treated at Milford Memorial Hospital for non life threatening injuries sustained in the altercation.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have any information in reference to this incident to contact Detective Mears at 302-856-5850 ext. 255.
