School Board To Hold Superintendent Search Meetings

The Milford School District Board of Education is seeking comprehensive community input as it begins the search for the new Superintendent of Schools.

Utilizing the facilitation services of the University of Delaware’s Institute for Public Administration, the Milford School District Board of Education will host a series of meetings to collect comments and recommendations from all members of the community relating to the characteristics and qualifications that the District’s next Superintendent of Schools should possess.

Information gleaned from these meetings will help the Board in formulating a leadership profile of the next Superintendent as well as develop strategies for recruiting and screening the best candidates to meet the educational needs of all children in the Milford School District.

School officials urge all individuals to make every effort to attend one of these community meetings:
Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 7pm, Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 4pm (For District Teachers, Administrators and All MSD Staff) or Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 7pm. Each meeting will be held at the Milford High School Auditorium.
