Talent Show Headlines Hospital Fair

Can you belt out a soulful ballad like Adele? Got more pizazz than Justin Beiber? Or maybe you can croon like Taylor Swift?

Your chance to showcase your entertainment skills comes at the “Milford’s GotTalent” contest at the upcoming Milford Memorial Hospital Fair. The contest will shine the spotlight brightly on some of central and southern Delaware’s most talented entertainers while providing family entertainment to fairgoers.

“We welcome and encourage all entertainers who can help build our fun and family atmosphere here at the Milford Memorial Hospital Fair,” said Milford’s Got Talent Contest Coordinator Phil Staley, who notes the diverse array of enthusiastic and talented entertainers who performed at last year’s contest.

Milford’s Got Talent will be open for up to eight entertainers in three age categories: under 13 years old, 13-18 years old and over 18 years old. Performances must be limited to less than five minutes, have no more than five people per act, and perform material that is suitable for a family audience. Applications may be picked up from the Milford Memorial Hospital Gift Shop at 21 West Clarke Avenue in Milford or downloaded from www.bayhealth.org. Completed applications must be submitted before May 12, 2012.

Milford’s Got Talent will highlight the 55th Annual Milford Memorial Hospital Fair which takes place on the grounds of Milford Middle School, from10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2012.
