Milford Art Ramble

By Anne Jenkins

Spring showcases the best artist in the world as she displays her talent with masterful timing and tempting peeks on a daily basis – none of us can beat Ma Nature for soul refreshing art exhibits in every little nook and cranny. It’s the perfect festival time – the Bud & Bug Festival fun is on Saturday, April 28. And it’s also a time when artists leave their studio’s for some plein-air painting while it seems our local musicians, thinking creatively, head to restaurants.

Milford’s Community Band (MCB) shares musical spring fever on Saturday, April 21 at the Milford Applebee’s during an “All You Cat Eat” breakfast as a novel fund raiser for the MCB. You buy a ticket for $5.00 and between 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. you not only get breakfast, you will also be entertained by the “MCB Travelling Troubadours” who will play your favorite song for a small donation. If you have the breakfast the band gets $3.50, if you buy a ticket and don’t have breakfast, the MCB gets the full $5. Promote the arts and help these talented local musicians who give so much to the community. To get your ticket in advance, call Joe Lear (302) 422-6304
