Large Fight In Front of Skating Rink

On Saturday, April 14, at approximately midnight, officers from the Milford Police Department’s Patrol Division responded to a large fight in front of the Milford Skating Center.  Investigation revealed patrons from an event at the facility poured onto the street and a large physical altercation ensued.  Officers on scene estimate the crowd at 175 to 200 people.  As a result of this altercation 3 three male victims, two 17 years of age and one 16 years of age were injured.  All three were transported to Bayhealth in Milford to be treated for non life threatening injuries.  Warrants have been obtained for a 17 year old male from Lincoln for two counts of Assault 2nd Degree, Riot, Conspiracy 2nd degree, and Assault 3rd Degree.  Warrants are also on file for a 17 year old male from Milton two counts of Assault 2nd Degree, Riot, Conspiracy 2nddegree, and Assault 3rd Degree.  A third warrant is on file for Brandon Lewis, 18 of Georgetown, for two counts of Assault 2nd Degree, Riot, Conspiracy 2nd degree, Menacing, and Assault 3rd Degree.  Milford Police are continuing to investigate this matter and hoping to learn the identity of at least one additional suspect.  Police urge anyone with information about this incident to call 302-422-8081 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.  Tips can also be submitted via the internet at www.tipsubmit.com.    Milford Police required the assistance of officers from the Delaware State Police and Harrington Police to help resolve this matter.
