MPD Seize 2,736 Grams of Marijuana

On Monday, April 30 the Milford Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the unit block of Southeast 2nd Street, completing a 4 month investigation. The search warrant resulted in the seizure of approximately 900 grams of Marijuana and over $4000.00 in United States Currency. Following the execution of that search warrant, a second search warrant was executed at a business (DE Fat Boys Tires, Rims, and Audio) in the 16000 block of South DuPont Hwy in Harrington. The second search warrant resulted in the seizure 1836 grams of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Dennis A. Beckett, 30 of Ellendale, with two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Possession with the Intent to Deliver Over 1500 grams of Marijuana, Possession With the Intent to Deliver Marijuana Within 300 feet of a Church, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mr. Beckett was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on $52,000.00 secured bond. This was a joint investigation that also included the Delaware State Police, Harrington Police, and Bridgeville Police.
