Juvenile Arrested For Aggravated Menacing

On 5/15/12 at approx. 7:30 am, the Milford Police responded to the 300 block of Pierce St. after receiving a report of a black male armed with a handgun. Upon arriving, Police discovered that the 17 yo male had displayed what appeared to be a handgun at 3 passing motorists. The 17yo male had pulled the handgun from his waistband. He also began firing rounds at a 16 yo male victim who was on foot. Upon taking the 17 yo male into custody it was revealed that he was armed with a CO 2 style bb gun. None of the victims were injured during the incident. The 17 yo male was charged with Aggravated Menacing (3 counts), Carrying a Concealed Dangerous Instrument, Reckless Endangering 2nd Degree, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Disorderly Conduct. He was committed to The Stevenson House in default of $2,700 secured bond.
