Circles Investigation Leads to Prostitution & Drug Arrests

On 5-24-12 the Milford Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit with the assistance of the Delaware Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement, Georgetown Police, and Harrington Police completed a several month investigation into illegal activities taking placing within the Circles Restaurant Bar and Grill. With the assistance of undercover officers, drug, alcohol, and prostitution violations were observed and followed by several arrest.

Police seized a vehicle, marijuana, prescription drugs, and an undisclosed amount of United States Currency. Delaware Division of Alcohol and Tobacco Enforcement cited Dung M. Tran, 53 of Dover, with Prostitution, Lewd Establishment, Drug Activity on a Licensed Premises, and Refilling of Liquor Bottles. DATE also cited David P. Grobinski, 44 of Lincoln, for a Last Call Violation. Milford Police charged Michael A. Charles II, 32 of Harrington, with two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Narcotic and Conspiracy 2nd degree. Mr. Charles was arraigned at JP Court #7 in Dover, where bail was set at $2500.00 secured. Mr. Charles was released after posting bail.

Also charged was Katherine E. Leech, 26 of Magnolia, with Prostitution, two counts of Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Narcotic, and Conspiracy 2nd degree. Ms. Leech was arraigned at JP Court #7, where bail was set at $1974.00. Ms. Leech was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution.

Donna Sanders, 23 of Dover, was charged with Possession with the Intent to Deliver a Narcotic and Conspiracy 2nd degree. Ms. Sanders was arraigned at JP Court #7, where bail was set at $750.00 secured. Ms. Sanders was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution. Lawrence Hood, 38 of Milford, was charged with Disorderly Conduct and release on a criminal summons. Finally, Brittney J. Cunningham, 26 of Lincoln, was charged with Prostitution, and Possession of Marijuana. Ms. Cunningham was released on $150.00 unsecured bond.
