MMS Student Council Donates To B&G Club

Staff Report

The Milford Middle School Student Council has worked this school year to raise money for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milford. Ms. Dorian Mendez-Vaz, Director of the Boys and Girls Club, was presented with a check for $600 raised by operating a photo booth and concession sales at the fall and winter school dances. The students were pleased to learn that by donating the proceeds to the club’s One Campaign, the contribution will be matched by the Boys and Girls Club Corporate Board. The MMS Student Council will continue to support the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milford by donating all proceeds from their Spring Luau to the club. The students are thrilled to support the programs and facilities that provide activities for students and help young children learn to swim.
