MSD Competes In Wellness Olympics

On Monday March 5 the Milford School District held an eight week health challenge for teachers and staff encouraging healthy lifestyle choices. Each week participants were given a health and nutrition challenge to complete and received one point for each day they were successful at completing that challenge. Each building in the Milford School District had an “Olympics Coach” and pushed there colleagues to attain a bronze, silver or gold medal at the conclusion of the eight week challenge. Participants learn the importance of drinking water, eating fruits and vegetables and exercise as they competed against each other for medals in the Wellness Olympics
